Tal Wright

Tal Wright provides Pendleton clients with economic development project management, as well as communication planning, branding, copywriting, media relations and crisis response services. He is experienced in translating complicated or controversial information into a persuasive story.

Tal established WT Wright Communications, LLC after a 30-year career at Georgia Power Company, where he served as vice president of corporate communication, which included managing the company’s advertising, marketing communications, media relations and employee communications functions.

He also served as Georgia Power’s Director of Economic Development, where he supported the company’s Georgia Resource Center staff.

He is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America. His economic development experience includes supporting the Cobb Chamber’s successful Competitive EDGE economic and community development program and its communication strategies for the Atlanta Braves’ move to Cobb County.

Tal has provided communication services to various healthcare organizations, including Emory Healthcare’s efforts to obtain additional public funding for Southern Regional Medical Center, as well as marketing communications, media relations, and executive communications for Tanner Healthcare, Columbus Regional Medical Center, Southeast Alabama Medical Center and Athens-based University Cancer & Blood Center.

These services have included copywriting for annual reports, physician columns, and print and radio advertising.

He recently assisted Jackson-Spalding Public Relations in its successful bid to provide communication services to the National Institutes of Health Yerkes Primate Centers.
